We were told on Saturday not to come into work on Sunday as it was Easter and we were all invited to attend an Easter dinner in our welfare building. On the menu we had roast beef and roast chicken with carrots, mashed and roasted potatoes, cauliflower cheese, stuffing, Yorkshire puddings and gravy. To follow we had Vanilla and I think Strawberry ice cream with various Chocolate truffles and also hot cross buns. Scattered around the tables were chocolate bunnies and egg halves made from solid chocolate of which many did not get eaten, I have become custodian of these fine treats. The dinner was enjoyed by all and the watching of sport via satellite, playing of pool and drinking went on into the night.
